I use instant-espresso and crushed walnut pieces
and always a teaspoon salt,
always watching in the oven how it looks like
for antique look I dye the fabric again and again.

Does anyone knows natural indigrients for dying?
Onion (to obtain a brownish color)
Red cabbage (to obtain light blue color...it sounds magic ;P)
These are the two I tried so far...

I usually use the Deka batik color...the results are great, and it's not so expensive (if I need to dye a big amount of linen, aida etc).
If I need to dye a small patch I usually do it with watercolor...with good results too
