2 skeins of DK weight yarn in your choice of colors
Yarn used for sample:
Color A: Madelinetosh Tosh DK, 100% superwash merino wool, color
“Filigree” (skein is 225 yards/206 meters)
Color B: Malabrigo Yarn Finito, 100% merino, color “Natural”, (skein is 200 yards/182.9 meters)
Hat is worked from the bottom up, smaller needles used for the ribbing to ensure a snug fit. Superwash merino will grow quite a bit after blocking, so make sure to measure gauge AFTER blocking and stretching. You should choose a size 1-2 inches smaller than your actual head measurement.
