Useful, thank you! I have done both ways but I think for special amigurumi, your way is best.

I have never tried to wash a more complex toy, but usually I stick then in a tied off pillow case and stick in the washing machine on delicate, but words of wisdom never and I mean ever stick them in the dryer....I did it ONCE........never again and yes to not hanging them I do the blocking think and change position as they dry...
