Downloading a pattern

So do you need a computer to download a pattern or can you use your phone. Im also wondering what the process is to download a pattern or how I find the instructions to do so. Oh my goodness lol one last question is the reason I can post pictures because of my phone because I take screens hots and I take pictures on my phone but they always seem to be too big or wont download so Im just trying to figure all of this out. I know its a lot but I really enjoy this site so the more involved I can be the better! Thank you so mucu

I really would advise using a computer rather than a phone to download attachments, as quite often they are compressed files (such as .zip or .rar). And to my knowledge it isnt possible to open those files on a phone; though I may be wrong.
Also, a computer is way more convenient when it comes to resizing of formatting files before uploading them, bookmarking stuff and such.

About the phone I dont know.When you take pictures you can change the quality (and so the size) of the pictures.

Make an input folder where you save the patterns, then everything is in one place and you can distribute them later. many patterns in your phone will affect the work.

As long as its not a compressed file youre good using your phone! I always use my phone to download pdf files from here (◠‿◠)

Ahh sadly you can only open rar files either on the computer or (according to my google research) through a specific app on your phone as a rar file needs to be decompressed. I dont have experience with apps for this, but maybe someone else does!
